  • Strengthening the capacity of children, families and communities to address the worst forms of child labour and improving their knowledge of the risks and alternatives to the worst forms of child labour.
  • Strengthen the capacity of local and national mechanisms and systems to prevent, respond to and implement inclusive, gender-sensitive and safe alternatives to the worst forms of child labour.
  • Support state and non-state actors in their efforts to prevent and reduce the worst forms of child labour, improve coordination, effectiveness, visibility and transparency, and share good practices.
  • Renforcer les capacités des enfants, des familles et des communautés à lutter contre les pires formes de travail des enfants, et améliorer leurs connaissances sur les risques et les alternatives aux pires formes de travail des enfants. 
  • Renforcer la capacité des mécanismes et systèmes locaux et nationaux à prévenir les pires formes de travail des enfants, à y répondre et à mettre en place des alternatives inclusives, respectueuses de l’égalité des sexes et sûres aux pires formes de travail des enfants.
  • Soutenir les acteurs gouvernementaux et non gouvernementaux dans leurs efforts pour prévenir et réduire les pires formes de travail des enfants, améliorer la coordination, l’efficacité, la visibilité et la transparence et échanger les bonnes pratiques.

  • The assistance is expected to benefit 892,571 people (directly and indirectly), of which 333,372 in Burkina Faso, 17,176 in Mali, 48,630 in Madagascar and 493,393 in Malawi. 
  • The project addresses target groups at micro level (children, parents, community structures, etc.), meso level (technical services, local authorities, private sector, etc.) and macro level (government structures, media, civil society, etc.).
