A first lesson learned highlighted during the reflection workshops was the need to adopt a multi-sectorial/factorial approach to strengthen child protection.

A second lesson learned concerns the need to adopt a cultural/ local approach when designing and implementing comprehensive interventions. Child protection risks are not only the result of events within the physical world (e.g., natural disasters or armed conflict) but also the result of social norms and traditions.
