Changing lives, making an impact
You can see the impact of a programme through the changes in people’s lives
The JF-FS&CPiE project shows that food security has a huge impact on child protection: the lives of children, their families, and their communities are changing thanks to context-specific methodologies integrating child protection and food security. Positive parenting, cash transfers, and life skills sessions for children are important activities, and collaboration between different Joining Forces agencies as well as local actors is key to maximize impact and guarantee sustainability.

Fit for the future
We’re planning ahead to face food insecurity and protect children
Food insecurity puts children at greater risk of harm. When families don’t have enough to eat, children are more likely to face child labor, early marriage, or unsafe migration.
To protect them, we need to plan ahead. By including child protection in all food security efforts, we can help children stay safe and strong during crises
