A Run for a Child Labour Free Future For All

In the presence of the Malawian Minister of Labour, Hon. Peter Dimba, Else Boonstra from the EU delegation in Malawi, and the Country Directors of Plan Malawi and Save the Children Malawi, Mwape Mulumbi and Bhekimpilo Khanye, the JOFA-ACTE project made progress in advancing its advocacy agenda to eliminate child labour in Malawi.

As part of the project’s efforts to actively engage in several key national-level initiatives and reinforce strategic partnerships with government ministries, Plan Malawi and Save the Children Malawi organised and participated in a fun run themed ‘Run For a Child Labour Free Future For All’ with the aim of strengthening national commitments to the elimination of child labour, in line with ILO Convention No. 182 and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8.7.
